What is a Passive House?
Anyone who’s attended the recent BRANZ Performance Plus seminar will know it’s a highly energy efficient home that uses a fraction of the energy of a traditionally framed home - 15 kwh/m2 per year vs 100 + kwh/m2 per year. And we’ve got a local example you can visit this weekend.
Chatterton builders have built a great example of a Passive House in Rangiora and it’s open to view.
