SIPs have been tested countless times over the years. 

This "Deconstruction" demonstration testing video by the NTA stands out. 

Check out 3:20 of the video, where they project a piece of wood at a SIP at 54km/h. It's interesting to see the damage to the SIP compared to the Drywall+OSB Frame.
